Heather was born and raised in Oakville Ontario, where she most recently finished her Social Service Worker diploma program at Sheridan College, with a specialization in Gerontology. She graduated at the top of her class with high honours. During Heather’s time at Sheridan College, she was able to participate in a placement program at an Assisted Living Residence as a recreation and support worker.
In May 2014, Heather moved back to Fort McMurray to begin her new journey with St. Aidan’s Society first as a Foster Care Coordinator and currently as a Seniors Advocate. Heather is extremely passionate about Seniors and looks forward to a long career working for and with them.
During Heather’s time off, she enjoys playing slo-pitch, visiting her friends and family throughout Canada; while making it to at least two Toronto Blue Jays games per year, and most importantly taking care of her cat Leo.
