St. Aidan’s

St. Aidan’s is a local social profit organization that was established in 1973, with a vision of creating a positive community impact in Fort McMurray and Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo.

Our focus is to serve, empower and unlock the potential with our programs and community partnerships.

Seniors Events

Making a difference

The past year has been impactful at St. Aidan’s Society.
  • An increase in the direct contact with seniors in their homes by the Seniors Outreach team.
  • Successful completion of the Coordinated Community Response to Elder Abuse. Our Region now has a coordinated response, including a local number to call for help.
  • With regular monthly Interagency meetings we have  provided the opportunity to connect agencies and foster partnerships as well as share upcoming events and information.
