Megan is originally from Grande Prairie, AB but spent most of her upbringing in Fort McMurray. She earned her Social Work Diploma from Keyano College in May 2025, where she served as the Student Representative on the Social Work Advisory Committee. Megan is an avid learner and is currently pursuing her Bachelor of Social Work Degree through the University of Calgary.
Megan has experience working and volunteering with the unhoused population, children with disabilities, and individuals with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD). However, it was during her practicum placement with St. Aidan’s Society that Megan discovered a passion for working with older adults—a population she now feels deeply committed to serving and advocating for.
Outside of work, Megan enjoys travelling, spending time with friends and family, and she has recently taken up golfing!
