Seniors aged 50+ can attend a free Seniors Social which is held on the third Tuesday of each month from 2:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. in the Syncrude Program Room. Activities could include: gardening, travel trivia, scrapbooking, movie days, painting, technology workshops, and Senior Zumba.

Sheri will also hold an annual Christmas luncheon.

Membership to the library is free.

The Wood Buffalo Regional Library also offers a Homebound Service if you are unable to make it to the library due to mobility, physical, visual, and medical barriers. A library employee or volunteer will visit Homebound Seniors once per month and bring books, movies, and CD’s of genres of interest. This service is free. Contact Sheri to sign up.

Activities take place every Tuesday and Thursday at Legion Manor; and activities are open to the public.

Activities include bingo, arts and crafts, movie nights, breakfast outings, trips to Anzac, and a chance to connect with other community seniors.
