The waypoints Outreach team travels to Fort McKay on a weekly basis and provides services at the Fort McKay Métis Office and Family Support Centre. The Outreach team typically travels with one Outreach Counsellor and one Outreach Support Worker. All of our services are free of charge and available for any resident of the RMWB.

Services Offered

• One-on-one counselling for individuals looking for mental health supports (previously FCSS Counseling).

• Support + information and referrals to people affected by family violence.

• Community awareness and public education around family violence.

• To connect people affected by family violence with community resources.

• Provide assistance and advocacy to clients who have experienced difficulties accessing community services.

• Advocacy and accompaniment to individuals affected by family violence.

• Connect rural communities with resources and supports surrounding family violence.
