Notes

The AADL program assists seniors in Alberta with long-term disability, chronic illness or terminal illness to maintain independence by providing basic medical equipment and supplies.

An assessment will be completed by an AADL authorizer such as a nurse, physical therapist, occupational therapist, or other Healthcare professionals who work in a community health care centre, hospital or home care program.

AADL is a cost-share program. You pay 25% of the cost to a maximum of $500 per individual, per benefit year.

Low-income seniors may be exempt from cost-sharing. Your authorizer or will have cost-sharing exemption application.
