The Advisory Committee on Aging (ACoA) is a council appointed committee that is mandated to gather public input and make strategic recommendations to Council regarding service delivery for seniors. The ACoA and its partner agencies have participated in a series of engagements to capture public input towards the Committee’s vision of Aging with Dignity in Wood Buffalo. With Council approval, the ACoA is designated as an Age Friendly Community under the World Health Organization. Aging affects everyone.
