There are emergency accommodations for those in need. This includes 56 emergency shelter beds and 35 emergency mats for those who are homeless. Available for both Women and Men. A soup kitchen is offered at the Salvation Army on Saturday, Sunday, and Statutory holidays. 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. They will also serve a second meal from 4:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. The Family and Community Services Department will help to provide low-income seniors with resources such as financial help with prescriptions and free clothing from their thrift store. An application for need will be filled out and assessed by Carolanne and Florence. |
