Provides workshops, peer led support groups, educational material on prevention and early intervention strategies. Promotes mental health through the recovery college by offering a variety of classes and workshops. Some classes include regulating our emotions, self compassion, bouncing back, building better boundaries and many more. Through the Recovery College, CMHA also offers specific courses to our caregivers. CMHA provides suicide awareness and prevention courses through SafeTALK and Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST). |
